A Weekend In Milano

A few weekends ago we went to Milan to visit our friend who is currently living in Milan to study. The weather was horrible, but we had the best time, visited some great coffee and aperitivo spots and were there during the opening weekend of & Other Stories.

FOOD

B-Light, 12 Corso Sempione
I’m very much a breakfast kind of girl and this is the place to go to wake up with a perfect cappuccino and brioche. And as the name might already tell, at B-Light they use only natural products.

Deseo, 2 Corso Sempione
Aperitivo is the best invention ever and the thing to do when you want to feel like a local. When the weather is nice you can site outside and watch the beautiful Arco Della Pace.

Obika Mozzarella Bar, Via Mercato 28
Another place where you can go for aperitivo, located in the cool neighbourhood Brera. In Obika you can get a cocktail and good quality antipasti for only 10 euros. I can definitely recommend the President cocktail, made with basil.

Chateau Dufan, 2 Via Paolo Sarpi
A little place for breakfast, coffee, lunch or icecream in the Milan China Town.

SHOPPING

& Other Stories, 1 Corso Vittorio Emanuele
Luckily for me, I was in Milan the day & Other Stories opened their doors and what else did you expect.. I carried big bag outside.

Corso Como, 10 Corso Como
Not in my budget, but the perfect place when you are in doubt wether to buy a Céline trapeze bag or a Delvaux Madame. If you’re a boy and not into high heels there is also a really nice mens’ department. And don’t forget to take the stairs and visit the bookstore or current exhibit.

Rigadritto, Via Cesare Correnti
If you are looking for cute and original stationary, notebooks and postcards Rigadritto is worth a visit.
